Apple Acquires Rights to Michael Lewis Book on Fallen Crypto Tycoon Sam Bankman-Fried Amid Legal Drama and Upcoming Trial

Apple has reportedly secured the rights to an upcoming book about Sam Bankman-Fried, the embattled founder of the now-bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange FTX, who is also facing legal charges. The book, titled "Going Infinite: The Rise and Fall of a New Tycoon," is penned by renowned author Michael Lewis and was acquired by Apple for $5 million, according to The Ankler.



Michael Lewis, well-known for his works like "The Big Short" and "The Blind Side," both of which were adapted into Hollywood movies, spent a year closely observing Bankman-Fried to chronicle his rise and subsequent fall.



Besides Lewis's book, there are purportedly eight other Hollywood projects in the works that focus on Bankman-Fried's story, one of which is a documentary by Nanette Burstein, known for her 2020 film about former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary
