Ubisoft, the renowned video game company, continues its expansion into the rapidly growing NFT gaming space by partnering with another blockchain network as a validator.
In an announcement made today, Ubisoft revealed its support for the Cronos network. The creator of popular gaming franchises like Assassin's Creed and Just Dance will operate a node on this open-source network, which offers interoperability with both Ethereum and Cosmos.
As part of their role, Ubisoft will generate or validate new blocks on the Cronos network, contributing to the processing of transactions alongside 27 other blockchain validators, including prominent entities like Crypto.com and Blockdaemon. The presence of multiple validators typically enhances the decentralization of the network.
